The Timberwolves have a rich history of success, highlighted by back-to-back CIF championships in 2021 and 2022. These victories not only underscored our team's dominance in the league but also marked a historic achievement as Northwood became the first Irvine high school to compete for a state title in 2022. This era of excellence has been propelled by the remarkable talent and leadership within our ranks, showcasing the Timberwolves as a force to be reckoned with.

Notable Alumni

• Adam Harper (2023): Harper's legendary performance, culminating in over 2,000 rushing yards, not only led Northwood to consecutive CIF championships but also earned him the titles of league MVP and CIF Division 8 Offensive Player of the Year.

• Sean Curtis (2006): After a distinguished tenure as a Timberwolf wide receiver, Curtis transitioned to a successful coaching career, impacting many through his roles at Santa Margarita and JSerra, before taking the helm at Capo Valley Cougars.

• Dan Selway (2005): Selway's stellar college career at the University of Redlands, with nearly 7,500 passing yards and 77 touchdowns, set records before he continued his football journey in the Finnish American Football League with the Border Knights.
